Owensboro Municipal Utilities has asked for an over 30 percent water rate increase to help pay for infrastructure projects, including the expansion of one of its water plants. It also asked to borrow over $60 million to pay for the contruction. Host Don Wilkins talks to City Government Reporter Austin Ramsey about why the publical utility is asking for the rate increase and what public reaction as been like since the announcement.
